Aims & Scope

OJCES is an international peer-reviewed journal with 2 issues per year (June-December). OJCES accepts publications from all fields of educational sciences and field education in Turkish and English. It includes quantitative, qualitative and mixed studies, meta-analysis studies that comprehensively evaluate the literature, model proposals and similar original articles. It also prioritizes current research using advanced research/statistical methods and techniques.
OJCES emphasizes the importance of evaluating education under a general title and finding solutions to educational problems with an interdisciplinary approach. OJCES contributes to scientific studies with qualified publications that have the potential to solve educational problems. OJCES ensures the dissemination of academic studies that offer concrete solutions to problems at all levels of education from pre-school to higher education, support the professional development of teachers, and contribute to the professional development of academics. In this way, it provides the basis for a holistic view of educational problems.
OJCES accepts original and high quality papers on one or more of the following topics:
 Studies that examine and develop the basic problems and practices of education at all levels of education,
 Studies that help to improve the competences and educational strategies of teachers, student teachers and other professionals,
 Studies on the professional development of teachers, including all kinds of strategies that examine teacher education models and innovative teacher education practices,
 Meta-analysis and content analysis and studies conducted with research groups or samples,
 All kinds of studies that can affect the individual, educational, career planning and social development of students at all levels of education (preschool, primary, secondary, high school and higher education),
 Studies that develop and evaluate a new educational model, even if theoretical,
 Studies that develop and support family involvement in education,
 Interdisciplinary studies involving different subjects of educational sciences;
 Studies in which educational measurement tools are developed and their usefulness is tested at the same time,
 Technology integration efforts to help improve educational practices,
 Studies that comprehensively address the various processes of teaching and learning,
 Studies on the development of education in Turkey and the world, separately or together,
 Studies involving innovative practices in education.
