In this study, it is aimed to adapt the Psychological Help Needs Scale (PHNS), which was developed to determine the psychological help needs of university students, to adolescent groups of middle and high school students. For this purpose, 342 secondary school students studying in secondary and high schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education were reached and asked to fill out the relevant scale. In order to explore the factor structure of the scale, the collected data were first included in the Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA). After removing the overlapping items under more than one factor with factor loadings lower than .30, a four-factor structure consisting of 17 items with eigenvalues greater than 1 and explaining 53.98% of the total variance was obtained. The Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin Test (KMO) coefficient for sampling adequacy was .870 and Bartlett's Test of Sphericity (Approx Chi-Square/df: 1671.123/136, p=.00) was found to be significant. The CFA, correlation and reliability analyses, which included data collected from a different sample (N=356) in order to validate the obtained adolescent form and to determine its relationship with the original form of the scale, show that it is validated and reliable. Although the findings show that the PHNS Adolescent Form is valid and reliable, some suggestions were made.
